About Me

A special education teacher at Tenor Journal Square, LeeQuanda Turner has spent more than seventeen years working with students of all abilities, helping them to discover and believe in their potential. In her position, LeeQuanda prioritizes building relationships and creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment, which can open the door to incredible growth for students. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science and a Master of Arts in K-12 Professional Development. 

In her personal time, LeeQuanda enjoys doing things that let her be creative, connected, and recharged, such as spending quality time with her family, baking, attending community and cultural events, reading a good book, and writing poetry.
