About Me
A school counselor at Tenor Cathedral Square, Charmin McGlaston is currently in her fifth year with Seeds of Health. She has over 18 years of experience in education and began her career as a paraprofessional at MPS.
Her previous work experience also includes serving as an Advantage Services Representative in a Milwaukee housing complex. In this position, Charmin ran a tutoring center for kids that lived there and held events to help families in the community. She planned events such as breast cancer screenings, financial literacy nights, employee skill building, resume writing, and a summer camp for kids. This experience influenced Charmin’s desire for a community-focused career, and her time ended there when she was offered her first school counseling position at Capitol West Academy.
Committed to supporting students, Charmin now holds a master’s degree in School Counseling from Lakeland University.
Charmin is a grandmother to three beautiful little girls who brighten her life. She enjoys spending weekends with them doing arts and crafts and baking cookies and cupcakes.
“The thing that I like most about my career path is that I have the ability to assist students and families in many different capacities. My direct work within Seeds of Health allows me to assist students with figuring out what's next after graduating high school and I truly enjoy showing them the various college and career paths that are available.”
