About Me
Mackenzie Arndt is thrilled to be joining Seeds of Health as an English teacher at Tenor Cathedral Square. With a background in Early Childhood Education and Arts, she has worked with students in over ten different schools around the Milwaukee area, in addition to co-founding a nonprofit that works to include children with special needs in arts programs. Before going into English Language Arts, Mackenzie trained in music and theater and brings this background to her everyday study.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
When not at school, Mackenzie enjoys visiting new places, finding events and festivals around the city, hanging out with friends and family, and creative writing.
“The thing I love most about my chosen career path is the ability to allow literature to help students make sense of being human. Everything we know about humanity comes from stories passed down from others. I encourage students to write and share their own stories to the world because of it.”
