About Me

Drawn to Seeds of Health’s community-oriented philosophy and mission, Fernando Muniz joined Seeds of Health as a math teacher at Tenor Journal Square in 2008. In 2023, he began his role as a STEM teacher, a position that he still holds today, in addition to his roles as a Spanish interpreter and technology coordinator. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Education, certified 6th-12th grade.

Outside of the classroom, Fernando enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, hiking, and watching food and travel shows.
